I really wanted a camera for my trailer and I saw a video of this one and was sold. Did my first test run today and I LOVE IT. The magnet is really strong and stayed put the whole drive. The app you use to watch the feed doesn’t drain a ton of battery, and there was no lag or delay at all in the feed. I could keep playing music and even make phone calls while keeping the feed on my phone. I haven’t tested the night vision yet but I have lights in my trailer so it’s not a big deal.

This is a great little camera that does exactly as described. It was easy to connect to my phone, and was a very good price! But most importantly to me, was the excellent customer service. I purchased this to use a bit differently. Wanted to put our pup in a crate in the back of our golf cart and be able to watch him. We unexpectedly lost our sweet boy before we got the chance to use it. I emailed customer service and Jill was so compassionate, caring and kind and took care of the return with no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this camera again!

I was a little skeptical about using this camera for hitching up my trailer, but I'm so glad I gave it a try! The wireless connection makes it super easy to see what I'm doing, and I can even check my hitch while I'm still in the driver's seat.

I installed this looking backwards on the upper deck of my boat so I can see behind me while backing up. A dinghy mounted on my swim step blocks my view from the lower helm. This unit works great and the battery lasts for weeks between charging (as it goes into sleep mode when not in use.)

So far just testing but great clear picture. Easy setup. Good magnet

I purchased this camera from a friends recommendation. I had just bought my first gooseneck trailer and loved the idea of using it in bed of truck to help get hooked up. Worked great! Than I was able to move into horse trailer and watch my horse our whole trip! So easy to use, only thing I regret is not buying this sooner 🥰

Not much to dislike with this camera. It’s easy to connect to and like the title says it has great picture quality. Haven’t tried the range, but I bought it to hook up my gooseneck trailer and for excavating. It’s tough to see the back side of the ditch on certain jobs.

2 MONTH UPDATE I now use this as a backup camera for the truck, and even stuck it a horse trailer to monitor our passenger. Had it running for over 5 hours at a time and no issues. And today it was back on the box skid to move more dirt. This thing is well worth the money. DAY ONE Bought this because I couldn't see my box scraper behind the Jeep. I stuck it on the Kolpin Heavy-Duty 3-Point Hitch System while digging a drainage trench, worked for about 2 hours and the INSEETECH never moved. Connecting it to my iPhone was simple. The battery only drained to 65% (it was on the entire time) and the picture quality was more than clear enough for me to see (better than the factory cameras on 2 of our vehicles). The phone interface was very easy to use and the video/pictures came out better than I had hoped. Overall great value at this price point.

So easy to move around! Versatile, I can use it to keep an eye on my horse in the trailer or use it to line up my gooseneck trailer easily. Strong magnetic camera and easy to work app. The charge was great, picture quality good and app super easy. We had no issues with camera on our 4 hour trip to pick up our new horse ( put it on the charger when we got there) and it worked great for the 4 hour trip back home. Personally I fee this is a great investment for anyone hauling horses or livestock. The magnet is super strong for the record. I was pleasantly surprised how great this worked for us.

Easy easy install. Really impressed with the clarity. No night vision. My other wireless camera I had to turn off Bluetooth on my phone or it would stutter and stop. No need on this one. Super wide. It really is almost 180 degrees! I can stand at the corner of my truck and it shows. Very satisfied.

I am really impressed & happy with this! Easy to set up and works great! I use it for work on back of vacuum excavator driving around town & residential neighborhoods this really helps navigate tight spots safely. I ended up dedicating an old iPhone for it I had sitting around. I just want to say it again. It was very easy to set up. I had no issues and everything connected right away. I especially appreciate that me and technology often don’t get along and I seem to have issues and problems with stuff like this, but it was very easy right out of the box. I charge it up. Everything connected right away and just started working easy!!

Absolutely 100% what I was looking for! It is suitable for highway use, backing up on a daily basis and it is extremely easy to set up and use daily, it only takes maybe 30 seconds more to your getting comfortable in your car, its camera is like 4k or something cause its very very nice, I was genuinely so impressed. it’s a convenient high quality back up/dash/whatever you wanna use it for! I personally use it as a backup camera on a my 2007 Toyota solara secondary/joy ride vehicle, my main vehicle is a van and it has backup camera installed so I am a bit spoiled which is why I sought this out for my joy rider, anyways I’m ranting BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NICE back up cam that’s wayyyyyyy more quality than the price makes you expect than this is it! No monitor it’s all on your phone but I’m sure if you wanted a monitor you wouldn’t be looking for the convience of a phone access cam lol. Anyway 100000000% out of 10, if I could rate higher than a 5 star I would.

This camera works great! I installed it in my 2010 Nissan Xterra. I have it connected to a new IPad Mini which I use as my head unit. It’s connected over WiFi and works without any lag. I still have internet in the tablet because the iPad is smart enough to stay connected to the camera over WiFi but use my 5G for internet. Amazing!

This backup camera is very nice. It’s well made and durable. The frame is metal and there’s a rubber coating over it. The magnet is super strong and I wouldn’t worry about driving anywhere with it attached to my car. You can use this camera as a backup camera for your car, trailer or even as a camera for your home inside or out. The picture is crystal clear, you can turn the guide lines on or off and it has night vision as well. For what this costs it’s a great option if you want a camera for any reason.

Perfect for hooking up the camper. It’s awesome that the camera is magnetic so you can really put it anywhere and see any angle you want. Attaching it to the camper bumper helps when you need to get it in a tight spot. Also, being able to set it on the ground to give you a different view is very helpful. 👍

I absolutely love this camera. The app installed on two old iPhones without a glitch, and the camera wifi supports viewing on both at the same time. I use it to hook up my 5th wheel horse trailer. I positioned the camera centered on my truck bed and marked the spot with a paint dot. I was delighted to see that the yellow line is pretty much aligned with the hitch ball. Without depth of field, you don't want to crash your tailgate into the front of the trailer, and this gives the visual you need. I'm buying magnetic mounting plates for my aluminum trailer so that I can use the camera inside while hauling, and on the back of the trailer itself while backing it into a parking spot. I love it, would consider buying a second one and another old iPhone to have a two-way for hooking up -- but that's just the techie in me.

The camera setup was easy and trouble free. I use a IPhone 8 Plus and the app runs smooth. I use the camera to hook up my gooseneck horse trailer then move it inside to keep an eye on the horses and works perfect, no signal loss and I keep about 18 FPS while going down the road to our shows. So far so good, definitely a cool little camera. I only bought it so I can put it in the box of my truck and back up to my gooseneck trailer without my gooseneck going through my toolbox. The quality is great also! ***Have had it about 7 months now, still awesome!

This is one of the best products I have ever bought for my horse. Trailering your horse is always scary. This is a great great great product. It is so easy to use so inexpensive. Those pictures were taken off of my phone from the camera that sticks in the trailer it is awesome easy to use Stay charged. You will not regret buying it. I promise it’s worth every penny buy it do not travel with your horse without it.

The picture quality surprised me for something this small. Wide enough view to see both sides of the hitch.

Update 5/2026: I still love this camera. It's gone months without sharing and I charged it up amd away we ent with food battery life. The app is easy to set up and use. BUY THIS CAMERA!! It took me 3 years to bite the bullet. So many cameras have negative reviews, even the horse specific cameras. I did not want to worry about wiring in any thing and most of the "wireless" cameras need some sort of installation. This camera is perfect. It lasted about 6.5hrs on an 8 hour trip. I have a travel battery that I could have plugged it into to get about 3 more hours. I have an aluminum trailer so my husband screwed a heavy metal plate into the fiberglass front wall. It has a very strong magnet it never slides or even shifts. One more bit of info. I was about 50 feet away from my trailer this am when I logged onto my iPad and it picked up the trailer. I've had it now for about 3 months and have used it for probably a total of 25 hours and it works the same every time.

I used it as a front end loader camera. My original plan was to find a waterproof monitor and backup camera to permanently mount them to the tractor. But this works better since I already have a phone holder on the tractor and no wiring needed at all. And I can put the camera on any location: front grill, bucket, pallet fork frame, ROPS etc. It’s much more versatile than the wired camera.

I ordered this with not super high expectations and it was surprisingly better then what I had expected. The app is simple to download and work through. It didn't bother me that you have to select the app on your phone and connect it to Wi-Fi as the only time I'll use this is to hook up to my trailer which saves my wife from being yelled at hahaha.

Well, I had to trailer my baby horse, which is a year four months old first time being tied in the trailer. It is working and really made me feel secure about my horse. She did great. I love the camera..

This thing is terrific and exactly what I needed. I’m using it for slightly different purpose, which is mounted to my rowing scull so I can see behind me and avoid obstacles (mainly moored boats and channel markers) as I row backwards. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and it guided me through the rest. I just went for a quick 30-minute row, and the battery for the camera is still at 100%. The view is clear and it’s cool that I can record if I want to. I’m mounting my phone to a standard magnetic mount in a place where I can easily see it while rowing. For a solution that requires zero external power, this thing is flawless.

I use this camera often to hook up trailers to my pickup. I also use it on my motorcycle hitch carrier to aid in backing up. Additionally the app allows for still images to be taken, in the event of an aggressive driver or tailgater. The magnet is strong and I have not had any trouble with it falling off of my vehicle, even while driving. The image quality is fair and the price of the camera makes it a great option. The battery life is also good, with my first test being one hour, without any problems or unexpected shutdowns.

I bought this so I can keep an eye on my precious cargo. It works like a charm. I don’t have a backup camera on my truck I can use it to hook up the trailer. Then I can move it inside the trailer for the ride. We could even see the image well in the dark. The night vision worked well. Very easy to setup. I actually prefer this to the camera I had in my old trailer which was specifically made for inside horse trailers.

This was camera was very easy to install following the directions. I make night deliveries in a 2012 Jeep Liberty. It was very hard to see to back up in the dark. This camera is a life saver and game changer. I save 45 minutes in a 4 hour route since I am able to clearly see what is behind me. I also leave it recording from the minute I leave home until I return. I couldn't be happier.
